If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

1. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of the Life in the UK 2026 - Videos mobile application (the "App") provided by DataTech Innovations Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in England and Wales.

The App is designed to help users prepare for the official Life in the United Kingdom Test, which is a requirement for those applying for British citizenship or settlement in the UK.

The App is made available via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms;
• You are at least 13 years of age; and
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If you are using the App on behalf of another person, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not download, install, or use the App.

3. Description of Service

The App provides, among other things:

• Video lessons covering all chapters of the official handbook;
• Practice questions and mock tests based on the Life in the UK Test format;
• Study materials and revision content;
• Progress tracking and performance analytics; and
• Educational resources about British history, culture, and values.

3.1 Disclaimer

The App is intended for educational and preparation purposes only. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content, we do not guarantee that using the App will result in passing the official Life in the UK Test.

The official test is administered by the UK Government. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the UK Government, the Home Office, or any other government agency. Users should always refer to the official "Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents" handbook and official guidance for authoritative information.

4. User Accounts (if applicable)

Some features of the App may require you to create or sign in to an account. Where account functionality is provided, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
• Maintain and promptly update your account information;
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential;
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account; and
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used in an abusive or fraudulent manner.

5. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree that you will not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its systems, or other users' data;
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality, servers, or networks;
• Copy, modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• Use automated systems or software (such as bots or scrapers) to access the App without our prior written permission;
• Circumvent any access restrictions, security measures, or subscription limitations;
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, or other harmful code; or
• Reproduce, redistribute, or exploit the App's content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Ownership

The App, including all content, features, functionality, design, text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, and software, is owned by DataTech Innovations Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by us and our licensors.

6.2 Limited Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to:

• download and install the App on a device that you own or control; and
• use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes only,

subject to your continued compliance with these Terms and the applicable App Store or Google Play Store terms.

This licence does not permit you to:

• modify or copy the App or its materials;
• use the App or its contents for any commercial purpose;
• remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
• distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the App to any third party; or
• mirror the App's materials on any other server or platform.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers both free and premium features. Premium features are unlocked through an auto-renewing subscription purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

7.1 Free and Premium Features

Some content and features are available free of charge. Access to all chapters, all videos, all practice questions, and all practice tests requires a paid subscription.

Currently, we offer a single subscription plan:

• Premium - All Chapters: 1-month auto-renewing subscription, £1.99 per month.

The exact price may vary by region and currency and will always be shown clearly in the App and in your app store before you confirm your purchase.

7.2 Payment Terms

If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the time of purchase;
• Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period;
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price;
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings:
  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions

We are not responsible for managing your subscription on your behalf.

7.3 Price Changes

We may change the subscription price from time to time. Any price changes will be communicated in the App Store or Google Play listing and will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the change. If you do not agree to the new price, you must cancel your subscription before the next billing date.

7.4 Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions are governed by the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. We do not process refunds directly.

For refund requests:

• Apple users should contact Apple Support;
• Android users should follow the refund process provided by Google Play.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

9. Updates and Changes

9.1 App Updates

We may update the App from time to time (for example, to improve functionality, add features, update content, or fix bugs). Some updates may be required for you to continue using the App. Where possible, we will ensure updates remain compatible with your existing device and operating system, but we cannot guarantee this in all cases.

9.2 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide notice within the App or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the App after the revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and, if applicable, cancel your subscription.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement;
• warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components;
• warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content; and
• warranties that the App will meet your personal expectations or guarantees of exam success.

Using the App does not guarantee that you will pass the official Life in the UK Test.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• DataTech Innovations Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App; and
• Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or your subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DataTech Innovations Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• your use of the App;
• your breach of these Terms; or
• your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

• you have breached these Terms;
• your use of the App poses a security, legal, or reputational risk; or
• we are required to do so by law or by a platform provider.

Upon termination:

• your right to use the App will immediately cease;
• we may delete or disable access to your account and associated data (where applicable); and
• any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including, but not limited to, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall remain in full force and effect.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and, if applicable, cancelling your subscription via your app store account settings.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App, except where another jurisdiction's laws or courts are required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms or policies referenced in the App Store or Google Play listing, constitute the entire agreement between you and DataTech Innovations Ltd regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings relating to the App.

17. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us to be effective.
